Even changing the quantity of one ingredient slightly can be considered a different recipe, even if overall it's basically the same.

Marketing 101 - Make them think it's brand new because brand new sells.


Who cares though, most of the people who will buy this are probably people who already drink Coke Zero. Maybe some people will try it one time to see what the new formula tastes like - and if it tastes closer to Coke than the old Coke Zero did and earns some new regular customers, I'd say that's a success beyond just branding
