Pence should get booted along with Trump. It'd be pretty incredible to try and pretend he had no idea what was going on, and he's the one who vetted Michael Flynn, who's turned out to be amazingly, hilariously compromised.
Trump should not be impeached until they have the case against Pence as well. And ideally not until after the 2018 elections. Democrats need to be smart about this and not try to rush it...possibly even slowing the process down when Republicans decide to cut their losses and try to rush it.

Because that's really not how the system works. You're basically proposing getting rid of allowing the public to vote on the president, instead allowing congress and the senate to choose whoever they want by dismissing presidents without actual cause.

In general, correct. But aside from the evangelical voters, NO ONE voting for Trump last year was voting that way because they wanted Pence in the White House.
