| gamester_12345 07/20/17 11:58:45 PM #29: | Kids are kids. if anything i'd rather have a kid casually go up from 14-16 with one girl to get a feel of things. over here in the UK, you're probably not going to meet other people from other schools unless you knew them from primary school. by the time you get to college (High school in the US?) they'll probably have more Independence like taking the train/bus there, or eating out, that they'll have a social life outside of family/education. I'd probably wonder who the parents are first though. I would probably make sure they're not being taken advantage of and if they are actually having a healthy approach. i don't want my kid to be some random scumbag, but i wouldn't want them to feel less of themselves. emotional blackmail just isn't a pretty thing, really.
