L giving a press conference out in the open, Light showing remorse, the girl being the one egging him on. Idk man, feels like they're moving a bit too far from the source material. Like, Light is a straight up sociopath. It wouldn't have been green lit if Misa were portrayed as Misa in the anime. Not progressive enough for Netflix. Mia But seriously though, not sure if you checked the link, but they legit changed her name from Misa to Mia. I wonder how people feel about that. They also changed Light Yagami to Light Turner. Probably because Yagami isn't an American sounding name. Imagine similiar reasoning for Misa.
