IIRC, you don't need to win the final round. And you can repeat the earlier qualifying rounds. If you're struggling with it, try playing other NPCs to get some stronger cards, although I think there is a card or two from Chocobo Hot & Cold treasures that can easily carry you through the tournament. ---
