You claim to be too smart to think juries find people innocent and cannot get it wrong. We can at least be upset and not give a man a nice payout for royally fucking up even if we fail at putting him behind bars. The big difference is, the jury was presented with actual evidence, while a bunch of CEman likely only read a news story whose takeaway was the guy that got shot was black, and the cop was not. "Even though he was found innocent, he should still be punished." I hope to God you never get picked to serve on a jury. People that don't commit crimes are punished every day. Avoiding prison doesn't make you free from the judgment of society. We shouldn't force people to be punished by society, but we also shouldn't force them to not be.
