Flipped off Flicked off View Results Flipped off is correct and I refuse to accept otherwise, but I think this is one of those things where so many dumbasses got it wrong that the wrong one also became acceptable, kind of like using "literally" for emphasis Oddly enough, even though I hear "flicked off" a lot, I never hear people saying "flicking the bird".
