The hormonal imbalances during that part of a period is caused by an increase in testosterone. And if you're on HRT and don't cycle your progesterone then it'll balance out and have virtually no testosterone meaning much more emotional stability than you emotional little boys with your anger and inability to process emotions in a constructive way as per your psychological upbringing in our society.
