Religion certainly enriched my Nan(Christian) and my granddads wife( Jehovah's Witnesses) lives. It maybe a form of coping, getting through life and not facing up to your own mortality but I can't knock people if it works for them. Thats nice, but I never said that religion ruins ALL lives. Religion ruined my childhood, almost caused my parents to get divorced, an has caused immeasurable pain to many LGBT people I know. And that is just relatively tame Christianity. If you want to talk about hardcore life-ruining, go to the middle east.
