These are special kinds of shitty characterization

- Roxas is usually Sora's twin brother. If he's not, he's pining for him alongside Kairi, Namine and Riku. With one or two Final Fantasy girls.

I've recently been seeing him being paired with Scarlet Witch too, strangely.

- If Kairi isn't the love interest, she's an overly emotional bitch, who forces Sora into a relationship he doesn't want. And at the end, she gets her comeuppance by public humiliation.

- If Riku isn't the love interest, he's the villain, and tries as hard as he can to kill/hurt/maim Sora and the person he loves because he's in love with Sora too.

- Axel and Zexion are usually thrown in the mix too. If Roxas isn't gay, then Axel is usually paired with Kairi for some reason. I saw one where he was paired with Namine that was actually a little enjoyable, but don't see that pairing often enough. Zexion is usually the quiet bookworm. Sometimes he's the love interest for the side character. Usually Kairi's if Sora is gay.
