| Topic | I thought drinking water was supposed to stop the hiccups, not bring them back! |
| wwinterj25 07/02/17 3:06:16 PM #3: | Back at school my primary school teacher told me to hold my breath and swallow three times to get rid of hiccups. I did so and it worked. Since then I resized that it's not the fluid going down your throat that gets rid of hiccups but it's the fact you're holding your breath and swallowing.
