Honestly I think more than anything I just don't want to die in my sleep. My best friend died in his sleep four years ago at the age of 22. You never get the chance to really say goodbye and have that closure. I think that really messed me up and I'm still struggling with my relationship with death since then. I certainly wasn't afraid of death until more recently in my life.

Plus now I have stuff to live for. I've so long been lacking in purpose, but now I'm starting to finally build a sense of caring about myself and my life. I'm finally planning to live instead of planning to die. It's different, but it's also scary. This world matters to me now. I don't want to leave it.
