| KarmaMuffin 06/21/17 2:23:23 PM #33: | It sort of reminds me of the city where they got an apartment building set up for homeless people to live in for free. People were mad and saying things like "it's not fair that I work my ass off to barely live and they get to sit in the apartment for free!" Except that by giving the homeless people homes, they managed to save money. Less hospital visits, less police checks, more money from tourism, less drugs being used, etc. Without even getting into the fact that more homeless people were able to leave the situation by having access to a stable home / shower / etc. But because of the crab mentality, people freak out over "people getting things for free" ...
