There was an immediate effect and they all credit Trump for it. Obama's effect on economics was legendarily bad. I like the dude, but he was terrible on finances. I disagree here, nearly every source I look at that isn't heavily biased has Obama's effect on the American economy as a net positive, especially his second term, seems like the economy was climbing steadily as he left office.
