When was straight marriage something that had to be fought for, or straight rights in general? While we're at it, when was straight marriage legalized?

Just because gay people had hardships in the past it doesn't mean they should be elevated and celebrated while my sexuality is not. Give me my month or get rid of pride month. That's fair.

if non-cishet people were already equal, you would have a point.

however, they aren't. so you don't.

Gay people in America have the same rights as everyone else.

1. "gay" is not the only identity being celebrated under Pride
2. all LGBT+ people face discrimination to some extent

Literally everyone faces discrimination in some way.

heterosexual people do not face discrimination for their sexual orientation
cisgender people do not face discrimination for their gender identity

Bakeries have literally been put out of business because lgbt rights overstepped their rights.
