I'm sorry but the back stories, character development, dialogue, and socioeconomic / political nuance are all there... what else are you expecting from a show? 12+ episodes where--surprise--they're all in prison day after day, the guards are dicks, and blah blah it's the same thing on a shorter timescale than the other seasons --- Never write off the Doctor! ...
