Barely new on the job?

No, I said "barely been on the job." Barely new would imply some tenure.

She had no qualifications and literally only got the job because she and her family have given over $200 million to the republican party. Trump has made some questionable appointments, but hers was just absurd. She flat out bought the job.

Which has some measure of validity, but it's not really relevant to the discussion itself other than to acknowledge or agree with my remark concerning her relative lack of experience on the subject.

This has nothing to do with the courts btw. The laws are set by congress.
But whatever, keep defending her because she is republican.

She literally says in the video you posted, "That is a matter for congress and the courts."

What are you trying to prove here? That she hates gay people? Or that she's letting people more qualified than her decide what should and shouldn't be considered discrimination?

Pretty obvious to point out what discrimination is. Literally anybody could do it. Even kids.

Good, then she doesn't have to do it. She's the Secretary of Education. Her job isn't to determine what constitutes discrimination or to enforce discrimination laws.

Also, I just want to point out that I don't particularly like her. I think she's a poor choice for the position. But this particular question shouldn't even be asked of her.

It's her job to make sure kids have a safe and productive learning environment. That's the entire point.
