16 y/o Heifer, Eliza Wasni from Chicago is charged as an Adult and with 1st degree murder after she brutally stabbed her UBER Driver with a MACHETE that she stole from Walmart!!

She asked for a ride using the uber app and within minutes started attacking the driver..

34 y/o Grant Nelson was the driver who managed to stop his ca and run into a condominium building lobby to get help but died of his injuries..

Eliza drove off in his car and struck a median where she ran for it for and was arrested soon after.

Police were called after reports of screaming at 3:20am and found Grant with multiple stab wounds. He was able to tell them that he was a driver for Uber and that his passenger stabbed him..

Eliza lived with her single mother and ran behind a building near the crime scene where police found 2 weapons, a knife and a machete. Uber states that customers must be 18 years or older to use the service.

Uber released a statement "We are heartbroken by the loss of one of our partners. Our deepest sympathies and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time"

Grant lived with his parents and worked as a waiter while driving for Uber and Lyft after shifts. He had finished Memorial Day dinner with his faily when he decided to earn extra money driving..

Alex Nelson, his sister said "He was not a vindictive person. He was not a cruel person. He didn't deserve this. If he had been given the chance to live, he would have continued to fill the world with good thoughts, good music, and intelligent conversation. We will all miss that without him here"

Grant was a pianist who loved classical music, films and his dog, Lilly...

His co-workers, Colleen Milner and Mike Foley were heartbroken over his death and described him as "super nice" and one of the nicest guys people knew. He was Quiet and shy but wouldn't do anything to anybody.
