George didn't talk much; I'm not too sure if he can. Major gave a speech about patriotism and he was charming and seemed like a real good guy. If you thought I insinuated you did, I apologise, I never intended for that. John Major is one that signed the Maastricht Treaty without giving the public a chance to vote on it. At the time the UK was part of the E.E.C (European Economic Community) which the UK joined in 1973. In 1975 the UK was about ready to leave the E.E.C, and the people were given a vote on whether to remain, or leave. They chose to vote remain. In 1993 Major signed the above treaty, and didn't give the people a vote on the matter. It was this treaty that created the European Union, by signing the treaty Major dragged the UK into the EU without the backing of the public. It's for this that many people hate Major and think of him as a traitor. --- It's time gamers grew up instead of being pissy 5 year olds fighting over the most asinine things. ...
