| Topic | Something I always wondered about Mothers Day and Fathers Day |
| Firewood18 05/14/17 10:41:00 PM #19: | I don't go in for all the holiday stuff at all. I just don't care. And these minor holidays don't make any sense to me. Every day is a holiday if you make it through by being helpfull and celebratory in any capacity. I didn't do a thing for my wife today ( she's not my mother so why contribute to this madness of a holiday) except accompany her on a hiking trip with the kids. I could have stayed home and napped, done extra chores, or played games but getting drenched by rain and hail in the trail was much more satisfactory. --- Nobody is perfect.
