I do not blame him for wanting to move on. Being anyone's caregiver for 10 years would change the dynamic of the relationship for almost everybody. I don't know how long it has been in this case, but I think a month is enough depending on the circumstances to move on with a clear head as long as you're confronting it during that time when it ends like this.
