It's a lizard that becomes an unofficial dragon; Blastoise was a gigantic war tortoise with fucking cannons; Venusaur is like a plant dinosaur that wrecks shit... I love the overall designs of Gen I versus something like Gen VII, where you have a fire WWE cat that defies the fire/fighting stereotype by becoming a DARK Nacho Libre poser capable of shooting flamethrowers from its crotch, literally weak to every other fighting Pokemon-- Wtf Gamefreak.
