Except most of the people he's fired have been "the best people" that he himself brought in when he took office.
Never mind that his slogan is bs and he's loaded the swamp w/ more corporate execs than have ever been in a cabinet and largely just gone after government scientists and other employees who are non-political, middle class, have absolutely no power over the regulations they must abide by and actions they're told to carry out, and serve an entire career, through both R and D administrations. But yeah, YEE-HAW, drain that swamp!
Except that's still draining the swamp because it's not just Washington insiders and lobbyists, it's mostly outsiders so outside that they have little business being inside.

It's not so much a Witch hunt as it is following evidence.
Given that the strongest evidence so far was that an ambassador met with a Russian official, discussing nothing of importance, and then neglected to reveal the meeting to anybody, it's the least compelling evidence ever. Meanwhile you have people like Hillary and Stein trying to push the fiction that the polling stations were rigged by Russia.

First off, the investigation is more than one person so "the investigator" is bogus. Second, there's literally nothing to the investigation in the first place. Third, today that "investigator" essentially admitted to fabricating claims against Hillary Clinton which is a pretty legitimate issue.
Well the timing of it is sort of odd. His biggest blunders were months ago and if anything he should have been fired then not now. I do think he's demonstrated shit professionalism and incompetence. However, now Trump is just going to put a new (possibly compromised) idiot in place or at the very least pick a shit candidate while watch the senate argue over confirming him. In general this firing is in the middle of an investigation that is finally getting some steam. This whole mess is probably going to slow it more than its already near stop pace. ---
