All the flak Watchmen receives both just and unjust, one thing the movie isn't praised enough for is the Dr. Manhattan being "created" sequence. It's absolutely beautiful. To be fair, it's a rather straight forward take as it was (brilliantly) written by that crazy nut job Alan Moore.

But yeah. Dope sequence.

the score in that scene brought it to life in a way just not possible at all with a graphic novel. there are things that the graphic novel did better and was better suited for, but i'd say this is definitely an example of the film being able to do so much more with it.

Yeah brother I reference the score in that sequence immediately. This dark, carnival type sound. Just ties that whole sequence together absolutely perfectly.
