Im only fluent in english, but can speak enough italian/french/portuguese/spanish to get by, as theyre all similar. She enjoys teaching me too. It's nice. The hardest part about these languages (im sure you face this too) is being able to pronounce the words correctly. Like i may know the word for something, but when i speak it i say it wrong. Middle eastern languages are just so different. yeah, i've taken like 5 years of spanish between high school and college, so i can get by with it. i can kind of read italian and guess small bits of french. but yeah, pronunciation is really different for me. i'm sure i sound like a goob (she thinks it's cute tho so that's fine). kh is not bad, but gh really gets me. also learning the script. i know a few letters.
