specifically, it was blocked by a federal judge, not overturned by the GOP congress

i think it is good to actually post a link to the bill full text since it's so simple. CNN coverage on it has not been very good--it leaves out important details like the bill being opt-in, 100% OT = 150% PTO as the rule, and requiring employers to be willing to exchange PTO for the employee's hourly wage within 30 days of a written request

normally i am all about the GOP getting fucked in the ass when they try to do things but i actually think this bill was decent
