Mass Effect 1, definitely. It was so powerful that I just sort of sat there quietly for a while. And I'm not one of those man-children that cries after every game they play then comes on here (for attention or validation), throwing out phrases like "grab some tissues" - which prompts masturbation jokes from me. Anyway, enough about my heroes... With ME1, it felt like that weird "relieved sadness" you get when you're driving home after a great night out, and there's no traffic. You know the night is done, and it's okay, but it's still sad that it's over and you fail to cling to lost feelings of joy as only happy memories remain.

I thought I was going to feel that way about Persona 5 as well, but it just kept going and going and all I was left with was the relief part when the credits rolled. I loved it, but it's been a couple of years since I finished a game of that length, let alone within about a week (I was sick and had nothing else to do). Not a lot of games manage to do this to me, but they're usually ones with a heavily involved, emotional story. I've never cried over a game before, though Ni no Kuni was the closest to that, and honestly, left me with the ME1 feeling as well, though to a slightly lesser extent because I felt like I was Commander Shepard...
