I wouldn't be surprised if it was on a technicality rather than his constant trolling, but I do remember Lan warning him that what he was doing wasn't acceptable, so maybe for once the mods actually looked at overall patterns instead of individual posts

I believe the specific one that triggered his ban was posting "Fair, next" in a topic linking to an article about the Chechnya concentration camps, which was pretty unambiguously going to be modded harshly (the post really did not last long at all). His prior mod history would have contributed to the decision that he just wasn't welcome here anymore after that one.
