However in my adult life I've got to know more people who share the same interests as me because I stopped caring what others think and mentioned my interests when talking to them or found out they like the same things too by the way the conversation was going. For example this older guy came up to me once who was studding in my college class and asked me if I known any good places for second hand video games/consoles as he was interested in playing them and didn't know where to start.
