And with so many areas still under-researched, there’s plenty left to learn.

- As consumers, we should take a harder look at some of our supply chains and try to make more informed and ethical purchasing decisions. In a wired world where more information (and misinformation, it's true) is available to us than to any previous generation, we've still got a bad habit of using ignorance as an excuse for apathy about too much stuff.
