Topic	So, the Catholic church is the only institution left from the Roman Empire

I was raised Catholic, and ever since I got into learning about Rome, I noticed something interesting during Mass. That the altar looks like the ancient altars that Roman priests would use to worship the gods. its the same altar just used for a different god. and the robes of the priest I think are similar kindof to old Roman clothing. so that's cool. I'm not catholic anymore but my family is, and they drag me to it sometimes.
