Instead it’s because of our own ignorance and stems from our lack of education and training on providing sensitive and evidence-based care for transgender patients. No fucking shit, Sherlock. You're expecting people to undo and relearn thousands of years of a conditioned norm in human nature, to modify the very way their language and society function for an incredibly minuscule number of people. Should transgender people have the same rights as everyone else? Absolutely. Should they be maligned? No way. But that said, completely changing your identity like that is an unnatural and pretty brand new concept for mother nature, so it's unbelievably stupid to say "Hey it's been like 2 or 3 years since transgenderism went mainstream.
