There are actually people in the world who get a kick out of fucking with people on the internet, going out of their way to hurt and ruin lives just for 2 minutes of lulz. They feed off the hurt and embarrassment and annoyance like it's roast chicken, because it validates their existence in this world and makes them feel significant, having had that effect on someone else. Social experiment implies you had a legitimate purpose. What was rain's supposed purpose again? Writing a book on someone with cancer?
