| SiO4 04/13/17 1:43:40 AM #6: | Ya, this was the the line that was used during the Bush years...well sort of. What they would say was, I respect the office of the Presidency. Which is a way of sidestepping any critical thought about what the President is doing. It is used as a tool to promote subordination towards the current administration at worst, and intellectually lazy at it's best. Funny thing is, you never heard this line used during the Obama years.
