Well yeah but seriously, how do you eat healthy on a budget? I'm open to ideas.

As long as you cook at home, most food you make will tend to be pretty healthy compared to going out.

Asherlee's right though, plan your food out definitely. Every Sunday night, me and my GF plan out what we're gonna make for dinner each day that week. We always end up with leftovers, which is a big key to saving money. If you get leftovers on a regular basis, you never need to spend money on lunch.

Also, Aldi is a godsend.

Go see if any are near you. It's a German supermarket that started popping up in America the last few years, that sells mostly their own product lines (which are all top quality as good as name brands since they're usually made in Europe) and cuts out unnecessary expenses for themselves, so their prices are ludicrously cheap. I'm talking boxes of cereal for like $1.30, a whole bag of sweet peppers for like $2 bucks, family packs of chicken breast for like $6, etc...

I don't wanna sound like a hack, but this topic is basically what the website in my sig is entirely about. (The two of us run it. We're the poor couple in question lol) I could go on about this stuff for days.
