I used to get 3 mcdouble, 2 mcchicken, and 2 small fries for like $7. Shit would cost you well over $10 now.

The whole point of the restaurant business is to attract customers with main dishes that they sell at cost, then 'trick' you into buying their two main sources of hi-profit revenue - soda and fries - which literally cost pennies to make.

Selling a McDouble, or McChicken for $1 was them taking a huge hit in the hopes that they can get you with soda and fries.
