People only remember the good games and not all the crap. That's because we were busy playing the dozens upon dozens of fresh innovative new ideas with depth, content, and replay value. lol dozens of innovative new ideas? lol platformers galore. Platformers, RPGs, FPSes, racing games, fighting games, where should I stop? We have those games now. Less so platformers because people realized they weren't that good after the new car smell of 3D wore off No shit. But it's during the 90s when those genres started to really come into their own.
