I think it has good themes and does touch on bullying well. It also does a good portraying of what it means to be lonely.

The biggest problem is the goddamn double standard. Hannah IS bringing a part of her treatment upon herself, but she's frequently portrayed as not being the one in fault. And the thing is, it's almost like the series is suggesting EVERYTHING bad that ever happens in that school is all dumped on this one girl for whatever reason, except not really. Yeah she lost some friends, yeah she got something embarassing directed at her, people spread rumors about her but that happens to like a LOT of people, even ones popular. And sometimes, it's like the person she's literally painting a target on their back didn't even really do wrong lol... like maybe they're shy or yeah they're young and they freaked. It happens, they're freaking high schoolers and are essentially toddlers. They're never gonna know EXACTLY what to do. I dunno, maybe I just want Hannah to get off her fucking high horse.

I haven't seen the whole series yet, but it's like so far "how to get bullied and how to bully others in return." Like it's literally revealed that she just... misunderstood something as well.

Oh, and the main character is really really dumb, cringey, and totally going nuts, and so in Tony. Like the reveal of the full story better be good. Otherwise, I dunno about this series. I think it's gonna get praised more than it deserves
