Also, let's keep in mind that the $15 an hour minimum wage in Seattle only applies to businesses with more than 500 people. And businesses that large generally don't start their workers at minimum wage anyway, except MAYBE retail, but that's only one small percentage of businesses with that many employees. For the vast majority of businesses in Seattle, minimum wage is $10 an hour, which is close to where the market value of minimum wage would be anyway.

But really, this should just serve to calm the nerves of the anti minimum wage crowd. What they're doing with minimum wage in Seattle really isn't all that dramatic.
