As I said, I grew up with cats in the house all through my childhood, and they are fairly low maintenance so, it's a good choice. I grew up with a lot of female cats, and only one male cat, at home. In the one rental I could have pets we (it was after I got married) had two male kittens. One with gastronomical issues with all but one brand of food we finally found, at that was like the most "high maintenance" I have ever experienced with cats. --- I think I need a drink.
