in situations like these i always like to throw in the idea that you could just drop everything you have and go volunteer somewhere to help people in need. sometimes it helps to just drop this obsession over yourself and your misfortunes and instead focus on things that help others get through the everyday struggles.

not for yourself, but for those in need. why not? nothing to lose and you'll actually be doing something helpful, and guess what, those people you help might end up doing great things later on with their lives. helping people isn't a bad thing to consider.
