In comparison, playing ALBW for the first time wasn't impressive either. There are certainly some things I like better about ALBW but it's only an improvement in the way you'd expect a game to improve in 20+ years. I know it's cliche to say "But for its time it was good", but I think it's relevant for a comparison like this.
