I didn't realize how strong the enemy was, so I ended running away and the parade was wiped out :/ At least you can always try again later. Also yeah, same thing happened to me, lol. Only I tried sticking it out. Did a bad-ass job surviving, but the parade wasn't so lucky since I couldn't take out the machines in time. There's one side mission I found in a canyon that ended up making me fight an enemy I was HUGELY underleveled for.
