There's a huge difference between a remake, a port, or just access to a game beyond the system.
I can think of 3 simple US releases that haven't been re-released.

7th Saga
Secret of the Stars
Paladin's Quest

And Secret of the Stars shouldn't ever be re-released. In fact it should retroactively be un-released it's so bad.

Secret of the stars may be bad but it is gloriously bad
It has good boss designs and good music

But everything else is terrible and that makes it terrible Inna good way

I mean at one point you need to stop the evil BADBAD and his army of BADMEN

you don't get writing that great in good games.
Secret of the stars is hilarious in how bad it is
One of the few games I think is so had its good
It needs a full 3d remake with the worst voice actors imaginable
