I f*ing DARE you What does gentrification have to do with this? This was done by transplants. Who came here because of gentrification. They constantly complained about the mural "not fitting New Orleans norms" and then after the bar owner refused to take it down they took it upon themselves to deface the mural. The article says they don't know who did it. I know multiple people who work there and the article doesn't disclose everything they know. It was transplats who didn't like it so they defaced the mural. Have they reported them to the police?
