Actually, it's more that there is a tendency among the younger generation who gets attention from social media activism to redefine racism into the way people here use it.
Disagree with BLM rhetoric? Racist. Don't think cops are systematically trying to murder blacks? Racist. Post crime statistics from the FBI? Racist. Say that most terrorist attacks are being committed by a particular religious group? Racist. Try to explain any statistic difference between racial groups with a reason other than "systematic racism" or "white people holding them back?" Racist.
The word on CE is essentially meaningless, otherwise I might actually care about topics like this.
