| BlueBoy675 04/07/17 9:19:51 PM #1: | Having played through 3 FES last year, I've gotta say that overall I think I enjoyed 4 more, which is pretty amazing because I thought 3 was fantastic. While I really liked 3's cast (yes even Yukari), I got the vibe that 4's cast was a tight knit group who really love each other. 3 felt like a bunch of guys who really didn't like each other that much, but reluctantly worked together because they shared the same power. Also, I enjoyed the small gameplay changes. Controlling your party members is a godsend, and the fact that they get skills from their social links is great. Inaba felt more lively, despite being a smaller town compared to 3's city, and it just felt like there was more to do. I had a harder time managing my days this time around. However, I think I liked 3's soundtrack more. I loved the emphasis on smooth jazz and funk. 4's was good, but Mass Destruction > Time to Make History and Reach Out to the Truth. Anyway, I have my steelbook of 5 ready to go, but I think I need a break first. --- Hope rides alone ... Copied to Clipboard! |
