The fucking Syrians are not our problem nor are they our responsibility. Chemical weapons are a big deal. If we stayed out of it we would never hear the end of it. "Wow you guys just sat back and let all those civilians die horrible deaths from banned weapons!" Chemical weapons are effectively banned because when they are used, there is punishment. You don't enforce international law with mean words. Do we have definitive proof that chemical weapons were used? Last I heard, Trump saw a photo of dying kids and hit the button basically. I'm all for enforcing the ban, but are we sure that Assad actually used them?
