As told by the Assad controlled news station Sana. I can't speak for how it is in Syria, but don't the families of US soldiers sometimes live at air force bases? You have every right to take Syrian media with a grain of salt, but the alternative here is a US military that has found new and inventive ways to kill civilians in the recent past. Yes they live on base.
