Simply allow them to play/exist? Personally, my default setting is block everything. If the site goes to the effort of posting a notice that they rely on ads, I'll whitelist them and check their ads. If I'm seeing things like, "Sexy singles near you" or videos that auto-play, I'll go black to blocking. I'm willing to meet these sites in the middle, but there's a line I draw at blinking, trashy or disruptive. Regarding the TC's point about not trusting sites, that's a legitimate concern. On the same hand, they probably assume that users block them regardless whether or not they have their ads in order. I understand both sides. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
